While this is not a prayer, i still pray that we all be enlightened about this question, God and Jesus please help us. The question about is really really hard to answer if you are new to Bible, or if you are confused with the words in the Bible. There are many debates about Jesus being a God, or Jesus being a human and a son of God. You might have heard that Jews and Muslims do not believe in Jesus as Son of God, that you must have heard from Christians that Jesus is not a God himself, some Christians may even argue that Jesus is not a human but a God the son, which was there with God the father as a withness during the creation of the Universe.
Does the question really matters to you?
As a Christian seeking for truth, does it really matters to you? if Jesus is God the son, or only the son of God? will the answer destroys your believe to Jesus? does knowing the truth changing by the way God or Jesus look at you as a person?
As a Muslim, you must have heard the Jesus is only a prophet, and for the Jews, you must have heard that Jesus is not the son of God.
Which matters most ? Jesus as God or you as a good person loving other people ?
Now that third question could be taken as a trick or diversion from the original topic or question. YES it is. People most of the time really focus on what is the TRUTH, we dont follow a person based on his deeds or action, we love to talk about past events, past people, but we tend to forget that who ever is our GOD, he wants us to be GOOD person to each other.
ONE TRUE GOD
The effect of One True God is carved in our minds, we just cant accept two or three names for God, we want only 1 name for our God, because we read and learned that God is a jealous God, that we are not supposed to believe in any other gods or idols.
Jesus and God
Jesus while he was here on Earth repeatedly said that he is spreading the words of God. Jesus was described as the WORD turned into Flesh and walk among us. Jesus was the ONLY WITNESS while God created the Universe. Jesus is the SON of God, since he is son of a God, is too is a God.
Jesus God the Son, God the Father, and Holy Spirt are ONE
How is it possible that Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit are ONE ? If you are confused with the word ONE, it means that they are ONE in thinking, in ideas, in their stand, their belief, their purposes. Let say me and you and your family are ONE, we are all humans. Jesus is not the Father, nor he is the Holy Spirit, but they are ONE as a group.
Jesus the Son God as a Human being
Jesus was the only witness when God the father created the Universe, but Jesus came to Earth as a human being inside Mother Mary. Jesus is not really a human, he needs to spread the word of God that is why he needs to become a human for us human to see and hear him. Through spreading the word of God the father, Jesus was able to SAVE the people of that time, and to save the future people, Jesus told his disciples and Apostles to SPREAD the good news or the word of the God the father, that he believes in the Word of God and baptized will be saved.
Jesus Saved those chosen people of God the Father
Jesus saved the chosen people of God, not the people today, but by spreading the good news, and believing and getting baptized, Jesus promised to save us too. Read closely to the Bible, Jesus saved those people, not all of us, that is why he said and told to spread the good news, so that the future people like us can be saved too.
Jesus Saved the chosen people by SPREADING the good news NOT being dying on the cross
Jesus is a God, just like his Father, Jesus was given the task to save the chosen people of that time by sharing them the WORD of God not being dying on the cross, because dying on the cross is a common punishment of that time, dying on the cross is or Jesus dying of any kind is not the task given to him by God. If DYING SAVED the chosen people, then if Jesus died at young age without even spreading the good news, will be able to do the task? NO... how does killing save a sin ? We know Jesus died on the cross, but think about it, Saving through Dying? that is where most people get confused. Dying on the cross is only a fullfillment that on the third day God will resurrect Jesus, but it is not the main reason how the people were saved.
Jesus a God, stepping down to Earth as a Human is the Ultimate Sacrifice
Believing in the Words of God through Jesus is what really SAVED the chosen people. The ultimate sacrifice is the Becoming a human and spreading the word of God. Being a Son of God then stepping down as a human is the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus the Son God. A God is holy and stepping down to Earth is a sacrifice that Jesus accepted to save the chosen people of God.
